The upside of taping every other week is that the shows would be ‘fresher’ and crowds would not get burnt out by sitting through four weeks of tapings. The downside is that production costs would increase and the tapings do not bring in much revenue for WWE.
– Mason Ryan’s recent release from WWE NXT surprised some people, because he was generally well-liked, had a very impressive look and was from the UK (Wales), which would have been a draw when the company tours overseas. That said, his ring work was not progressing fast enough and the company apparently decided it was better to free up space at developmental.
