During the second installment of the new “Talking Smack” official WWE SmackDown Live post-show on the WWE Network on Tuesday, General Manager Daniel Bryan spoke about Brock Lesnar working a part-time schedule.
While talking about Randy Orton facing an opponent the caliber of Alberto Del Rio just two weeks ahead of his big “15 Years in the Making” inter-brand match at WWE SummerSlam, Bryan claimed Lesnar couldn’t do the same thing and probably wouldn’t even show up to the pay-per-view if he had to work the same full-time schedule.
Additionally, Bryan referred to WWE Champion Dean Ambrose describing Lesnar as “lazy” during his appearance on WWE Hall Of Famer Steve Austin”s “Stone Cold Podcast” on Monday night and took things one step further, “a lot of the guys on RAW are lazy because they are complacent and their managers are not as good as the SmackDown Live managers.”
As the discussion of the topic came to an end, Bryan made the claim that they are motivating Orton with the way they are booking him on the SmackDown Live brand, while saying Lesnar was likely sitting on his couch on Monday night. He added that Lesnar isn’t lazy in the general sense but still isn’t “fighting like Randy Orton is every week.”
The Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar “15 Years of the Making” inter-brand match takes place as one of the co-featured bouts at WWE SummerSlam, which takes place live on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
