WWE Raw ratings remain strong on road to WrestleMania

Last night’s Raw did another strong number with 3.36 million viewers. It was the third best number for the show of the year, trailing the episode the day after the Royal Rumble and the 25th anniversary show.

It also held viewers better than usual as the third hour was the best third hour for Raw — except for the 25th anniversary show — dating back to August.

The pattern of second hour growth that goes back to the start of Daylight Savings time continued as well, with hour two averaging 3.55 million viewers.

Raw was easily the highest rated show on cable with Rachel Maddow in second place with 2.95 million viewers.

Both Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar appeared on last night’s episode, and a John Cena vs. Kane match was advertised in advance as part of Cena’s WrestleMania storyline with The Undertaker. The three hours of the show were:

8 p.m. 3.40 million viewers
9 p.m. 3.55 million viewers
10 p.m. 3.15 million viewers
