JBL Calls Umaga vs John Cena at Royal Rumble 2007 a “Pure Masterpiece”

JBL remembered Umaga today on Twitter by praising his match with John Cena in 2007 at the Royal Rumble. The build up to the match saw Umaga constantly getting the better half of Cena, but after a hard fought battle, Cena eventually won the match and the feud. Sadly, Umaga passed away on December 4th, 2009.

JBL’s tweet is in response to a tweet from Umaga’s former manager, Armando Alejandro Estrada. Estrada was remembering his friend back in December of 2019 on the ten year anniversary of Umaga’s untimely death.
