After aligning with AOP and helping them beat down Kevin Owens, Rollins cut a promo where he blamed the fans for his actions. Rollins said he and the fans used to get along, but it went wrong somewhere along the way. Rollins claimed that — even though he did everything right and stuck his neck out for the fans — they still disrespected him.
Rollins asked the fans what is good enough for them. He said he was telling the truth when he said he had nothing to do with AOP, but the fans’ negativity turned fiction into fact.
Becky Lynch’s handicap match against Asuka & Kairi Sane and Rusev and Lana’s divorce segment led to matches being made official for TLC. Asuka & Sane will defend their Women’s Tag Team titles against Lynch & Charlotte Flair in a tables, ladders, and chairs match on Sunday, and Rusev will face Bobby Lashley in a tables match.
Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy was also made official for TLC.
Last night’s show ended with Rey Mysterio facing AJ Styles in a United States title rematch. The finish saw Randy Orton get involved and continue his feud with Styles.
