Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara confirmed for AEW Revolution

A new match has been announced for AEW Revolution.

During a Road to Kansas City video that was uploaded to AEW’s social media today, it was confirmed that Darby Allin will face Sammy Guevara in a singles match. The two have been feuding for weeks, reaching a breaking point when Guevara and the rest of The Inner Circle attacking Allin, with Guevara spiking Allin in the throat with his own skateboard.

Allin made his return last week on Dynamite, attacking The Inner Circle who were beating down Jon Moxley. Holding up signs, he issued a challenge for Revolution, saying Moxley will take Jericho’s title, but Allin will take so much more from Guevara, including his voice and his livelihood.

Matches already announced for the show include Chris Jericho defending the AEW World title against Jon Moxley, MJF vs. Cody, Jake Hager vs. Dustin Rhodes, and Kenny Omega and Hangman Page vs. The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team titles.

Revolution will take place this Saturday, February 29 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
