Prince Harry Makes a Surprise Visit to a Children’s Choir Rehearsal with Singer Joss Stone

The Basotho Youth Choir has been preparing to perform at the Sentebale charity concert at Kensington Palace tomorrow, but they weren’t expecting Prince Harry to stop by for a surprise visit during their rehearsals. The young royal was on hand at the Brit School to watch a practice session led by none other than Grammy winner Joss Stone.

People reports that the prince listened to a few songs by the children’s choir before Joss joked that it was his time to chime in. “There’s your note, Harry!” she teased, but he turned down the offer. “I learned years ago that I can’t sing,” he replied, although he did bust out a dance move or two.

Prince Harry also reunited with his friend Relebohile “Mutsu” Potsane, whom he met in 2004 when he traveled from southern Africa to London. The young singer presented the royal with cards and gifts from Lesotho, including a small model of a hut.

The charitable prince founded the charity Sentebale along with Lesotho’s Prince Seeiso, to help children affected by HIV and AIDS. Stone is an ambassador for the organization and will lead the children in song at tomorrow’s concert. Coldplay is headlining the star-studded show, and all proceeds from the event will go toward helping affected children in Lesotho and Botswana.
