mobanmarketAmy Schumer seems to have cast quite the spell on J.K. Rowling. The beloved author attended Schumer’s stand-up comedy show at Edinburgh Playhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Tuesday night. Rowling was apparently so wowed by the funny girl’s performance that she immediately took to Twitter to sing her praises, writing “Just seen the goddess that is @amyschumer live in Edinburgh. What a night.” The Harry Potter writer also added two emojis to the tweet: a crying-with-laughter face and a big red heart.

Schumer, 35, quickly responded (below), thanking the author and asking her what she thought about a Harry Potter reference from her show.
The banter continued when Rowling replied that she “loved” it.
