PSG still negotiating for Milan Škriniar

According to Le Parisien Paris Saint-Germain are still negotiating with Inter Milan for defender Milan Škriniar, with the Ligue 1 champions still holding out for a transfer fee which is below €60m. There is still a €20m gap between the two side’s valuation – with Parisian officials adamant that Škriniar cannot come to PSG at a €60m price tag.

According to Foot Mercato  a few weeks ago, Paris Saint-Germain were still in the running to sign the Slovakian defender, with club intermediaries still feeling confident on the feasibility of the move from Inter Milan to the French capital.

In January 2023, less than five months from now, Milan Skriniar will be able to commit himself wherever he wishes if he has not left Inter Milan by then. The 27-year-old defender will then be free, with six months left on his contract. It is clear that the Lombardy club have their backs to the wall and will have to sell him this summer.

As reported by Get French Football News, the centre-back was one of three players the Ligue 1 champions had agreed personal terms in principle with last month, along with Gianluca Scamacca and Renato Sanches. Scamacca joined West Ham United late last month, but Renato Sanches completed his move to PSG earlier this month, signing a five year deal.

The Slovakia international has been with the club for the last five years, making over 200 appearances and notably playing a part in the 2020/21 title win under Antonio Conte.
