Marseille goalkeeper Pau López unfazed by PSG’s internal issues

Marseille take on Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday evening in another intriguing edition of Le Classique. Ahead of the game, OM goalkeeper Pau López admitted that they were not concerned about the “extra-sporting” events at PSG.

As reported by L’Équipe, the former Roma custodian did not hide the fact that it would be a difficult game for them against the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

But the 27-year-old Spaniard also acknowledged that the rumours of Kylian Mbappé intending to leave the club sooner rather than later and the internal turmoil following the revelations regarding digital armies would not have any impact on OM’s performance. He said:

“It will be a very difficult match because they (PSG) have a lot of great players. It’s never the right time to confront them. I don’t know if they have any problems there (off the field) or not. We have to prepare for this match like all the others, and we will see what we can do. As for the extra-sporting events, it doesn’t concern us.”
