PSG’s Pablo Sarabia nearing Wolves move

TF1 journalist Saber Desfarges is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Pablo Sarabia (30) is nearing a move to Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to Desfarges, new Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui is convinced by the player, and his ability to improve their current squad. The Spanish international could switch the Parc des Princes for Molineux as soon as this weekend, with the two clubs in the process of ironing out the final details of an agreement.

Despite the fact that Sarabia would be trading a fight for the Ligue 1 title for a relegation scrap in the Premier League, the player has already been convinced to make the move by his compatriot, Lopetegui.

Despite finding himself in competition with Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Neymar in the forward positions at PSG, Sarabia has nonetheless managed 19 appearances across all competitions this season but has failed to make a single-goal contribution.

No transfer fee has yet to be revealed for Sarabia, who joined PSG for €20m from Sevilla in 2019, but an agreement between the two clubs is now in sight.
