As we noted last week, episode 5 of “The Matt Riviera Show” featured special guest Dave Palumbo, who is a retired bodybuilder and “Nutritionist” to Triple H, Stephanie McMahon & Stone Cold Steve Austin. During the interview, Palumbo made a claim that WWE wrestlers are allowed to take growth hormones, such as HGH and Testosterone, under the WWE Wellness Policy.

Following the claims made by Palumbo, WWE issued the following statement in response:

“WWE’s comprehensive Talent Wellness Policy, which is administered by an independent, third-party, clearly states hGH and hCG are among a long list of banned substances, however, due to certain medical conditions, there are a variety of therapeutic exemptions that account for approximately 7% of our contracted talent.”

Episode 6 of “The Matt Riviera Show” features special guest Dr. Thomas O’Connor. Based in Bloomfield, CT, Dr. O’Connor is an Internal Medicine Doctor specializing in heart health as related to Anabolic Steroid use. Dr. O’Connor is known as the foremost authority on the use of Anabolic Steroids in the United States, as well as TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy).

In the clip below, Matt asks Dr. O’Connor about Dave Palumbo, Nutritionist to such WWE performers as Steve Austin, Triple H, & Stephanie McMahon, about Palumbo’s assertion that the data related to anabolic steroids & death is inconclusive.
