The Undisputed Era was set to defend the NXT Tag Team Championships at Takeover: New Orleans against both the Authors of Pain and the newly formed team of Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong. Several reports are now claiming that fellow U.E. member Adam Cole will step in to replace Fish in the match based on events that happened at Wednesday night’s taping, but nothing has been confirmed by WWE at this point.

Cole was also announced for a 6-Man Ladder Match at Takeover: New Orleans to crown the first ever NXT North American Champion. We’ve reached out to WWE for comment and will provide further updates as soon as we have anything.
