mobanmarketAs noted, Rey Mysterio announced earlier this week that he has signed with Aro Lucha and will be appearing at the promotion’s next set of TV tapings.
Despite Mysterio signing with Aro Lucha, however, talks between him and WWE are “absolutely” ongoing, as we reported via Dave Meltzer. Mysterio is also dealing with a partially torn biceps muscle which he sustained at a Northeast Wrestling event several weeks ago.
According to PWInsider.com, Mysterio is set to have his biceps injury evaluated in Birmingham, Alabama, and it appears as if the results of the evaluation will dictate the next step in his ongoing negotiations with WWE.
‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ Lands Hall of Fame Announce Team
It seems as if WWE is indeed ramping up its efforts for the “Greatest Royal Rumble” live event in Saudi Arabia, as PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler revealed on his recent podcast that he and Jim Ross will be calling the event on April 27th.

As we reported earlier today, the event will air as a WWE Network special, and will air live on television in Saudi Arabia. As of now, the event will feature John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shinsuke Nakamura in addition to seven title matches.
