mobanmarketAs seen on tonight’s edition of WWE Raw, “The Architect” Seth Rollins will get one last opportunity to regain the Intercontinental Championship when he faces “The Showoff” Dolph Ziggler for the title at WWE SummerSlam.
Ziggler first defeated Rollins on the June 18th edition of Raw to capture the gold, with more than a little assistance from his new friend and terrifying bodyguard, Drew McIntyre. At WWE Extreme Rules, the two faced off in a 30-Minute Ironman Match with the title once again hanging in the balance, fighting to a time limit draw after even more interference and all kinds of shenanigans. The bout was then restarted by Raw GM Kurt Angle, but yet another run-in from McIntyre saw Ziggler retain the title.
So far, a stipulation for their third official encounter has not been announced, but we still have three more weeks of television before the hottest party of the summer invades Brooklyn, so there’s plenty of time to make sure the Scottish Juggernaut is not able to once again screw Rollins out of reuniting with the Intercontinental Championship.
