WWE Set To Return To Saudi Arabia

Fightful is currently reporting that WWE is set to return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 3rd. It will be WWE’s third event in the Kingdom, since signing a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority to bring events to the country. WWE has faced backlash for their relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which ramped up in the weeks following the murder and dismemberment of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi on October 2nd, a crime in which the Kingdom’s government has been heavily implicated. The criticism caused WWE to cease any mention of the Kingdom during promotion of November’s Crown Jewel event. No word on what the show will be called.
