Tessa Blanchard Accused of Using Racial Slurs & Bullying Numerous Wrestlers

Impact Wrestling star Tessa Blanchard has been accused of bullying, verbal abuse and using racial slurs, after numerous individuals from within the industry came forward on social media this weekend.

Blanchard, who is currently slated to challenge Sami Callihan for the Impact World Championship this Sunday in the main event of the company’s first ever Hard To Kill pay-per-view, started the drama herself after tweeting out, “Hey women, try supporting one another. Cool things happen.”

WWE Superstar Chelsea Green and NWA Women’s World Champion Allysin Kay were the first to respond. Kay, who last wrestled Tessa in 2016 for the SHINE promotion, stated, “Remember when you spat in a black woman’s face and called her the N-word in Japan? Was that you ‘supporting women’? The AUDACITY of this tweet”.

Green, who was part of the Fatal 4-Way match at ALL IN that also involved Tessa, posted a GIF with the caption “I remember that”. She also added, “You’ve consistently put down, bullied and belittled countless female coworkers, including me. Is that support?”

It would appear that the woman referenced in Kay’s original tweet is Puerto Rican wrestler La Rosa Negra (Black Rose), who later took to Twitter herself claiming that the alleged incident took place in Japan in 2017.

Blanchard worked two tours in Japan during 2017, both for the STARDOM promotion – the first in April/May and the second in August/September. She has not returned to the country since.

After several fans responded asking why this information was just now coming to light, Kay responded stating that it simply was “not my story to tell”. She was finally given permission from La Rosa this weekend to tell the story, adding, “You can’t force someone to come forward, but you can be there for them.”

The story has also been corroborated by former TNA Knockout Rebel as well as AEW stars Big Swol and Shanna. Others including Isla Dawn, Priscilla Kelly and Renee Michelle have also chimed in with their own stories.

The reason I’ve never said anything until now is because it wasn’t my story to tell. I made it clear to La Rosa that I had her back, and today was the day she gave me permission. You can’t force someone to come forward, but you can be there for them. THAT is “supporting women”.

I like to think people change over time. But I can confirm the bad behavior & non supportive attitude in Japan, I was there https://t.co/u1e60bgdE6

As someone who experienced your bullying firsthand, received regular verbal abuse, was spat on, had rumours spread about me, dealt with multiple attempts by you to blacklist me from other companies, (plus more), I just pray you now follow your own advice. https://t.co/MWtmUKLOyf

Remember publicly putting me down on twitter last year for something that didn’t involve you whatsoever, then continuing to drag my name to other people for it?

You should probably delete this tweet. https://t.co/MnsHVnwavU

The day I got the call from my gf La Rosa Negra of the incident- she made me promise to keep my mouth shut because she was afraid of being blacked ball by her. As promised, I did. So I helped her get into Marvelous which is another Japanese promotion.

She did more nasty stuff in Japan… Never forget. Practice what you preach sweetheart. I standby @LaAbusadoradePR, she's a fun loving person who would never disrespect anyone. Much love to you Rosa. ❤️ https://t.co/gldMcAzwJD

So since we telling stories….Big Swole's turn. I won't speak on all the other stories but the one about La Rosa I know personally. This past year at Wrestlecade I spoke to her about this and about hashing it out with Tessa. I've spoken to Tessa as well, after talking with

Tessa did respond to Chelsea Green claiming, “I’ve never been anything but kind to [you]. I’ve dealt with mean girls since I started. Not Saying I’m a saint, hell I’ve had my ups [and]downs [and]I’ve made silly decisions. Such is life. You have zero merit in your comments. Instead [of]putting me down here for a little clout, you’ve got my [phone number].”

The only official statement that the Impact star has made so far is to simply tweet, “not true”, calling the entire situation “ridiculous”.

I’ve never been anything but kind to u. I’ve dealt with mean girls since I started..not saying I’m a saint, hell I’ve had my ups&downs & Ive made silly decisions…Such is life. u have ZERO merit in your comments..Instead putting me down here for a little clout…you’ve got my #! https://t.co/wBxvnnUx4G
