Gonzalez is a second-generation wrestler who previously played college basketball for Sam Houston State University, before joining the WWE Performance Center in 2016.
She wrestled her very first singles match in the inaugural Mae Young Classic, losing a first round match to Nicole Savoy, and returned in the 2018 tournament for another first round loss to Kacy Catanzaro.
She has worked on the NXT Live tour since, while making sporadic appearances including a May 2019 match on NXT television against Candice LeRae, as well as matches for EVOLVE throughout the year.
