Nantes wonderkid Amine Harit has completed his move to German side Schalke 04, in a deal worth almost €9m.
Harit has penned a four-year deal with the club and puts to bed links with European giants Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
The winger broke through last term and will now force new Nantes boss Claudio Ranieri to seek reinforcements for his squad.
“This change is a big step in my career, and I am convinced that at such a club I can develop into the player I want to be,” Harit said.
Schalke manager Domenico Tedesco described his new recruit as, “a technically experienced player who has a strong tempo in dribbling and is also defensive.”
