The 2024 Six Nations fixtures have been announced, with France hosting Ireland in the tournament’s opening match.
With the 2024 Olympics taking place in Paris next year, France will not host any of their home games at the Stade de France. Instead, matches could take place in Marseille, with the venues still to be confirmed.
Championship kicks off and concludes in France
The opening game between France and Ireland will kick off at 20:00 UK time on Friday, February 2. Round One’s action continues on Saturday, with Italy hosting England and Scotland playing away to Wales.

The following weekend, Scotland are at home against France and England host Wales on Saturday, February 10. Italy head to the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, February 11, to conclude the weekend’s action against Ireland.
A two-week break separates rounds two and three, with the action resuming on Saturday, February 24, with Ireland versus Wales in Dublin. Later that day, Scotland will put the Calcutta Cup on the line against England at Murrayfield. France then hosts Italy on Sunday, February 25.
There will then be another two-week break between rounds three and four. On Saturday, March 9, Italy will host Scotland, and England will be at home against Ireland. That Sunday, Les Bleus head to Cardiff to face Wales.
The competition concludes the following weekend, with Super Saturday taking place on March 16. The final fixtures see Wales and Ireland host Italy and Scotland respectively. A thrilling end to the competition sees Le Crunch take centre stage as Les Bleus host England.
2024 broadcasters
The BBC and ITV will share coverage once again, with S4C offering Welsh language options. RTE and Virgin Media will once again cover the games in Ireland, while France Television will be the home of the Championship for French fans.
Italy’s broadcaster is set to be confirmed soon, as will the widespread international broadcast coverage.
The Six Nations also confirmed that there would be a World Feed service next year.
