mobanmarketJOLIET— A 35-year-old woman who lives in the Kendall County portion of Joliet is now staying in the Kendall County Jail after Joliet police arrested Crystal Trimino on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.
Trimino committed her crimes on Sunday, according to Joliet police.
Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said at 3:45 p.m., the officers responded to a residence in the 8100 block of Shady Oak Road for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, English said the officers learned that Trimino had attacked a man who also lives there.

Police said that while Trimino and the man were arguing, she allegedly began slapping and striking him, causing a minor injury to his face.
Officers say they learned that Trimino had also taken a cell phone from an 11-year-old child in the house after the child tried to call 911.

Trimino was taken into custody without incident.
