Bentley Football Beer Garden Set To Return For 2024 Season

WALTHAM, MA — Football season is already here for college football fans, with Week 0 kicking off last weekend.

For fans of the Bentley Falcons, the season isn’t here quite yet, but university officials gave fans something to look forward to this week at a location that isn’t typically considered exciting.

The Waltham Board of License Commissioners met on Wednesday night with a licensing request for the Bentley football beer garden on the agenda.

It appears that university officials plan to host the usual beer garden for the team’s four home games this season, on Sept. 20 and 28, Oct. 19 and Nov. 16. The university also sought a similar license for hockey games.

Bentley doesn’t allow tailgating in the parking lots near the field, but the beer and wine garden in the far end zone opens 90 minutes before kickoff.
