New Exclusive Premium Fitness Boutique Opens In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A scientist by trade, Basking Ridge fitness enthusiast Jennifer Baird is always researching and learning new ways to optimize training at Infinitive Fitness Club so that every client can unlock their fitness potential.

Baird recently opened the exclusive premium fitness boutique at 15 Church St. in her hometown on May 1.

Growing up Baird was a gymnast and continued to hold onto her passion for fitness as she entered the corporate world.

She worked at Johnson & Johnson and then Pfizer for a total of 21 years working in research and development and then marketing.

It wasn’t until the COVID pandemic hit that Baird decided to “cut the golden handcuffs and go out on my own. Do the crazy thing, and kind of follow my passion and marry my love for science, my love for fitness, and my expertise and knowledge in marketing and doing good for the world and launch a personal training business.”

In 2021, Baird converted her garage in her home into a fitness studio called CoreForm360. At the time, she mainly focused on working with adolescent athletes.

Eventually, she started pulling in the athletes’ parents to train.

“And it just sort of exploded over the course of three years. And when I got to the end of mid 2023 I was at complete capacity,” said Baird. “I was training somewhere between nine and 12 people a day… It was a lot of hours, and it sort of came to a pinnacle.”

Baird hired Ridge High School students for an internship program which helped her expand her online and social media presence even further. That’s when Baird decided to move to a storefront in Downtown Basking Ridge.

The new space allows Baird to offer more fitness services including personal training and an open gym membership where clients can come and go as they please to work out in the studio.

A variety of group exercise classes are also offered including metabolic conditioning classes, Zumba, running strength for runners and run-focused classes, prenatal and postpartum classes, and more.

“I think the bottom line is, you do not ever have to be afraid to exercise or to work out or to get fit. You can feel comfortable coming here and you’re going to get very personalized service,” said Baird.

For those afraid to start working out or don’t know where to begin, Baird offers large TVs in her studio that offer pre-configured workouts focusing on strength, core, and a cardio HIT.

“It just loops, so you can come in any time, whatever your schedule allows, and always have a workout waiting for you,” said Baird. “And if you look up at the workout and you’re like, ‘I’ve never done that exercise before,’ … We have a very high trainer-to-member ratio. And so if that person doesn’t know how to do that exercise, there is a trainer on the floor right there to say, ‘I’ll help you’.”

Baird is hoping her studio can allow anyone to come in and feel happy and comfortable.

“The goal for me is always to give you something that is going to deliver and not give you a gimmick. We’re not about gimmicks, we’re not about fast weight loss. We’re not about unsustainable results,” said Baird. “I want you to be healthy and happy for the rest of your life, and so that’s what we really try to deliver here.”
