No agreement has been reached between the player and the Brittany side over an extension, with Mexer wanting to sign deal that is at least 2 years long. With the recent emergence of Gerzino Nyamsi, Jérémy Gélin capable of playing centre-half and Damien Da Silva having imposed himself as a key cog at the heart of the centre of defence, it is unclear whether or not Rennes President Olivier Létang will oblige.
