GLENVIEW, IL — The Village, along with the Chamber, is looking for an “infusion of fresh ideas.” With that in mind, Leadership Glenview is set to launch in September, and applications for the program are being accepted through the close of business Friday.
According to the Glenview Chamber, the annual program will select 20 individuals to attend eight workshops offered over the course of seven months, “delving into the structure of the Village and the many governmental and non-governmental organizations that contribute to the community’s health, vibrancy, financial stability, and culture.”
Meghan Kearney, executive director of the Chamber, tells Patch the benefits of the program are “many,” with potential leaders gaining an inside look at all the entities within the Village, while connecting with like-minded leaders, and gaining team-building skills
