L’Équipe and La Dépêche du Midi report that Toulouse have decided to appoint 59-year-old coach Patrice Garande as their new manager.
A new regime is about to begin with Les Violets, with American investors in the form of RedBird Partners entering shortly, who also intend to make ex-Liverpool and Fenerbahce Sporting Director Damien Comolli as the club’s new president.

Comolli has told those close to him that his meeting with Garande was excellent – next week, he will be formally made the club’s new manager on a 2-year contract.
He was preferred to Réginald Ray, who was the club’s second choice.
Garande will replace Denis Zanko who took charge of Toulouse following the sacking of Antoine Kombouaré mid-season.
If Garande brings an assistant with him, it will be Jean-Marie Huriez.
Alors qu’il n’a pas joué un seul match avec l’équipe première de Reims cette saison, le milieu défensif Nolan Mbemba (25 ans) a quitté le club champenois libre. Il s’est engagé pour trois saisons avec Le Havre (Ligue 2).
