mobanmarketCHERRY HILL, NJ — A new sushi restaurant is coming soon to Cherry Hill Mall.
Kooma Asian Fusion & Sushi Bar is projected to open in August, according to a spokesperson for PREIT, the mall’s parent company. The restaurant will be located in a long-vacant space by Route 38 that was occupied by California Pizza Kitchen, which closed in 2019.

Kooma has several locations on the other side of the Delaware. Scott Kim and John Jang opened Kooma in West Chester, Pennsylvania, in 2001, before following up with a King of Prussia restaurant in 2020.

The Asian fusion restaurants tout hand-picked ingredients and a wide selection of sushi. Kooma’s menu also features stone pot bibimbaps, stir-fry and other delicacies.
