The former Fulham and Sunderland man is now expected to fly out to England to negotiate the terms of his contract and finalise a move.
The 22-year-old’s transfer fee, along with Yacine Adli’s imminent €10m move to Milan, is expected to fund the last straight of Bordeaux’s hectic transfer window. Maja leaves the club having scored 11 goals in his three seasons in Ligue 1.
