Covid cases rise to 30 among Lille’s administrative staff, club accused of not utilising work from home after first case

As reported by L’Équipe, the outbreak of Covid among Lille’s administrative staff has grown to 30 cases. Three members of staff have made complaints over accusations that the club did not encourage employees to work from home after the first cases were discovered. Having all been tested, the first team, already kept at a distance from office staff, have not been affected. Currently, fully vaccinated Ligue 1 players are not tested regularly for Covid and all but two of Lille’s squad have been vaccinated according to the sports daily.
