On Friday’s Rampage, Don Callis and Prince Nana were interviewed. Callis said that since Sammy Guevara is injured and expecting a child soon, he won’t be in the street fight. He instead has worked a deal with Prince Nana and will borrow Brian Cage for the match this coming Wednesday.
Cage will now team with Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, and Powerhouse Hobbs against Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and Paul Wight. The match is sponsored by Sega’s latest entry in the Like a Dragon franchise, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
The match was set up two weeks ago, with Don Callis challenging Omega and Jericho to a street fight. Omega and Jericho agreed, with Omega saying that Ibushi would be on their team. Wight then entered the arena and laid out Fletcher, making him the fourth person on Jericho's team.
