“This past week our garden has been exploding with roses — my husband is an avid gardener and Walnut Creek has the perfect weather for both flower and vegetable gardens!” Monika wrote in an email to Patch. “I was so inspired that I went around the yard taking ‘portraits’ of them. My husband could tell you the name of each rose, but I can’t — what I can tell you is that I am very fortunate and grateful for his green thumb!”
