Nice interested in PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa

Foot Mercato report this evening that Nice are interested in bringing in out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa this summer, as part of a shortlist to reinforce their options in the position.

The Frenchman remains under contract until 2024 and did not play a single game this past campaign, save for an appearance in the Trophée des Champions defeat to Lille at the start of the season.

The former Monaco man is part of an 11-man transfer list, but has so far not been interested in a move away from the capital despite being offered around, having notably been linked with a transfer to Lyon last summer while Newcastle also made an approach this winter.

Kurzawa has recently switched agents and did not travel with the rest of the PSG squad for their pre-season tour of Japan. He has been with the Ligue 1 champions for the last seven seasons, making 153 appearances since joining from Monaco, his formative club. It remains to be seen whether the now-former French international will be interested in a move back down to the south of France.
