Nasser Al-Khelaifi opens door to minority shareholder at PSG

Speaking to Talksport, Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has confirmed that he was considering selling a minority share of the club to new investors, although he has ruled out a full sale.

L’Équipe had revealed yesterday that an unnamed American investment fund was interested in acquiring a stake worth up to 15% in the Ligue 1 champions, who have been under the full ownership of Qatar Sports Investments since 2011.

Sources from around QSI had confirmed to L’Équipe that there was indeed interest in the club, but that the arrival of a minority shareholder would not be signalling the end of their time with the French champions, who have won eight Ligue 1 titles since their arrival over a decade ago.

Al-Khelaifi confirmed that QSI were examining different offers. He has also indicated that an offer for the club worth €4bn had come through, but that they were not interested in a complete sale.
