Former colleague of Noël Le Graët shares new testimony of sexual harassment

While Noël Le Graët, who has stepped back from the presidency of the French Football Federation (FFF), awaits the results of the audit commissioned by the Ministry of Sports Amélie Oudéa-Castéra and an investigation has been opened for allegations of bullying and sexual harassment, a former female colleague of the 81-year-old FFF chief shared a new testimony of sexual harassment to Presse-Océan.

Le Graët’s former co-worker, who wished to stay anonymous, decided to speak up after hearing football agent Sonia Souid denouncing the Breton’s inappropriate advances. She recalls remarks made in his Guingamp offices: “How many times has he said to me: ‘You must be a hot one’, or ‘there’s no harm in doing yourself some good’… He only thinks about what’s under the belt.” She claims that every employee knew about Le Graët’s behaviour with women, calling him a “hunter” or “a sick one“. The former colleague avoided his company on purpose after business lunches. “I said to myself, be careful. Alcohol makes him uninhibited.“

She adds that the 81-year-old was “an all-powerful man” and facing him felt like going against “a czar, an emperor“. The former colleague recalls that Le Graët used to say to his opponents or critics to “not sulk, because I’m the one making you earn a living.“
