mobanmarketSeveral fans in attendance at tonight’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando have sent in word that former world champion Eddie Edwards took a nasty looking shot during a post-match scuffle with Sami Callihan.
Apparently Sami was setting up a spot with a steel chair and a baseball bat, and Twitter user Andrew Twiss noted that the bat appeared to ricochet off the chair into Eddie’s face. Another fan in attendance claimed that “his hands were full of blood” and he ran backstage immediately after it happened.
According to PWInsider.com, Edwards was taken to the hospital after running backstage after the spot, and was bleeding profusely. We’ll keep you updated on his condition as more information becomes available.
