mobanmarketAccording to @SliceWrestling, WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion Jey Uso, real name Joshua Fatu, was arrested this past Sunday by The Department of Public safety in Hidalgo, Texas for Driving Under the Influence.
WWE held a live event in Hidalgo on Sunday, and following the arrest, Uso was bonded out of jail for $500, according to the report. The website of the County of Hidalgo, TX lists the arrest as Uso’s first DUI offense. In terms of punishment, a first DUI conviction typically results in the suspension of the driver’s license for ninety days to a year, with the possibility of jail time.
WWE has yet to make an announcement regarding the situation, and as of now Uso is set to defend the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Titles, alongside his brother Jimmy, against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin in a 2 out of 3 Falls match at WWE Royal Rumble. You can check out Jey Uso’s mugshot below:
