Charges Dismissed Against 17 Year Old Involved In the Death of Jim Ross’ Wife

Back in March of 2017, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross’ wife Jan was involved in an accident when her Vespa was struck by a car, and suffered catastrophic injuries to her head. After undergoing surgery, Jim Ross announced via social media that Jan had passed away as a result of the accident.

Ross has posted the following on Twitter today, noting that the 17 year old who was driving the car which struck Jan’s Vespa, has had charges of vehicular manslaughter dismissed. Ross added the driver did not lose his license as a result of the accident.

“This morning norman judge Steven Stice felt compelled to dismiss vehicular homicide charge against the 17 year old in my wife Jan’s death. The state objected to no avail. The driver never even lost his drivers license. Sad world in which we live, folks.”
