mobanmarketNXT Superstar Kassius Ohno has taken to social media this weekend to firmly deny a report, originally published by Bodyslam.net, that he expects to receive his release from WWE NXT in the near future.
The report indicated that Ohno was “rumored” to have reached out to independent promoters about being able to take indie dates going forward, which the wrestling veteran says “couldn’t be more wrong.”
Kassius (fka Chris Hero) has been wrestling full-time for nearly two decades, having recently celebrated his 20th year in the business by teaming with former Kings of Wrestling partner Cesaro at an NXT Live event. He is currently in his second run with the NXT brand, after being released in 2013, becoming one of the hottest stars on the independent scene due to incredible performances in the ring, and was welcomed back in 2016.
