— TJP def. Ace Austin // Great opening match. They gave them proper time to work and Austin actually got to open up a bitch and show that he can actually work. TJP got the win again with a kneebar submission, giving Ace his second loss in Impact. This time he had two weeks to prepare, so he’s got no excuse.
— Brian Cage and Michael Elgin lift a lot of weights in the gym. Elgin is in the best shape of his life going into the Slammiversary main event.
— Kiera Hogan def. Madison Rayne // Another big win for the up-and-coming Hogan, who got a (somewhat) legit win after a superkick and the Fisherman’s Buster for a (somewhat) clean pin, albeit with Jordynne Grace being a distraction at ringside. Grace hits the ring after the match and Hogan immediately bails.
— James Mitchell is having a very difficult time trying to keep Su Yung and Jessicka Havoc from killing each other. He tells them to find a way to band together because it’s the only way they’re taking the Knockouts Championship back from Taya at Slammiversary.
