The bout, taking place one week from this Sunday in the Canadian legend’s hometown of Toronto, will pit a bonified legend and 7-time WWE women’s champion against a woman calling herself the “greatest female Superstar of an era”, and an 9-time champion in her own right – 10 if you count her run as NXT Women’s Champion!
After making her highly anticipated return to Smackdown, Stratus was interviewed backstage and made it very clear that Flair isn’t just stepping into the ring with a retired legend or a stay-at-home-mom, as she’ll be lacing up her boots and standing across the ring from the “Queen of Queens”.
