Despite Christopher Daniels injury during the first round, SCU went all the way through to become the first-ever champions, and after the match, Kazarian commented on his victory.
Frankie shared an image of his title, which now has his name on it, stating that the win was for everyone that has been on this journey with him for 21 years.

Kazarian went on to state that being the first-ever champions for AEW will never be lost on him, as the importance cannot be understated.
