When SmackDown forges ahead this Friday night, it will do so without its ailing General Manager, Theodore Long. But the evening will herald the long-awaited return of Undertaker, whose cold, lifeless eyes will once again cast their gaze upon Mark Henry. After The Deadman’s convincing win over Henry at Unforgiven, what does he have planned for him when they meet this Friday in the squared circle? Last week, The Great Khali interfered in Henry’s main-event contest against the Superstar he’ll face in a Punjabi Prison Match at No Mercy, the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista. Decimating the champion with his lethal Vise Grip, the colossus left The Animal lying in the middle of the ring. Will Batista have a response his No Mercy opponent’s attack this Friday? What else is the Punjabi goliath willing to do to reclaim the championship he lost at Unforgiven?
This week also marks the one-year anniversary of MVP as SmackDown’s Franchise Playa. Does the U.S. and WWE Tag Team Champion plan to celebrate his momentous occasion this Friday night? If so, will anyone on the SmackDown roster be on hand to wish the Ballin’ Superstar a Happy Anniversary?
