— A number of people are wondering why WWE didn’t bother to acknowledge the passing of longtime wrestler Andrew “Test” Martin on any of their shows last week. Regarding this, 1Wrestling’s Bill Apter attempted to get an answer from his numerous sources within the company, but all he could get was “no comment.” (ASK APTER — ABOUT TEST’S DEATH NOT MENTIONED ON WWE TV)

— Big Show was originally earmarked to take part in the Money in the Bank Match at WrestleMania XXV, but pulled after the decision was made to include him in the World Heavyweight Championship bout. Company officials then decided between Mark Henry and R-Truth as his replacement for the match, with Henry winning out.

— John Bradshaw Layfield has posted a blog acknowledging Rey Mysterio’s challenge to him at WrestleMania. “Got brand new boots for Wrestlemania, first time to wear them,” Layfield wrote. “Not sure why Rey Mysterio is so stupid to challenge me on such a historic occasion, but he will be the one that suffers.” (JBL Going to Mania)
