News From SmackDown's Live Events Tour Of Asia

A few live notes from the SmackDown brand’s ongoing tour of Asia:

– Bushiroad, the company that owns New Japan Pro Wrestling, was the sponsor of this week’s WWE live events from Tokyo, Japan. NJPW also runs shows in the same building and is a direct competitor of WWE in the market.

– After WWE’s live event from Ryougoku Sumo Hall, fans were asking New Japan Pro Wrestling why they don’t have an elaborate stage with high production values, like WWE brought for this tour.

– Several fans showed up to WWE’s Japan shows this week dressed as Damien Sandow, including robes and Sandow’s trademark beard. Sandow is not even on the show, but this is a strong sign he’s getting over with fans, even internationally.
