Former WWE Women’s Champion Melina recently took to Twitter to address rumors going around that Lucha Underground replaced her with women’s wrestler Taya Valkyrie because she was “extremely difficult to deal with.”
Melina responded to the rumors and claimed they are not true. According to the former WWE Diva, she only tried to get into Lucha Underground to work with her partner Johnny Mundo (John Morrison), but the promotion didn’t want to use the two as a pair because of the fact that they were so established as a duo in WWE.
Additionally, Melina posted the following on Twitter regarding her reputation of being an “evil, villain of a woman,” noting how “awesome” it is to think her on-screen character was “that convincing.”
