mobanmarketFollowing the official announcement of the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match at next month’s joint-brand WWE pay-per-view, immediate speculation began regarding former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey being involved.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio on Tuesday at F4WOnline.com that although it has yet to be officially confirmed, Rousey is expected to be a surprise entrant in the match, which features a shot at the Women’s Title on-the-line for WrestleMania 34.

According to Meltzer, those within WWE both on the RAW and SmackDown Live brands that are scheduled to be part of the match are also working under the assumption that Rousey will be included in the match.
Additionally, while also not confirmed yet, the Women’s Royal Rumble match is rumored to include past WWE and NXT female Superstars turning up as surprise entrants as well.
