According to Pro Football Talk, Vince McMahon’s XFL is expected to announce the hiring of Bob Stoops as the head coach and general manager of the league’s team in Dallas, Texas.
The news was reported by the aforementioned football sports media outlet ahead of a press conference scheduled for Thursday at Globe Life Park in Texas.
Stoops coached the Oklahoma Sooners to a 190-48 record before announcing his retirement on June 7, 2017. The 59-year old coach also led the team to a National Championship in 2000.
