On Tuesday morning, Cody Rhodes underwent successful knee surgery to repair an injury that he has been dealing with since November.
Prior to the surgery, Cody’s wife, fellow All Elite Wrestling (AEW) executive Brandi Rhodes, took to social media to comment on his surgery and status for the upcoming AEW: Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
“They just took my love [Cody Rhodes] back for surgery,” wrote Rhodes via her official Twitter page on Tuesday. “Hate being on the waiting end this time. But I know he’s going to feel so much better in time for [the AEW: Double Or Nothing PPV].”
