As noted, Daniel Cormier is in Anaheim, California for UFC 241 this week as he prepares for his UFC Heavyweight Championship rematch against former title-holder and the man with the most title defenses in UFC Heavyweight Championship history, Stipe Miocic.

The show was originally expected to feature the Cormier vs. Brock Lesnar fight that was promoted when the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and WWE Superstar entered the Octagon and shoved Cormier following his knockout victory over Miocic in their first UFC Heavyweight Championship showdown.
During UFC 241 Media Day in Anaheim this week, Cormier was once again asked about Lesnar’s decision to essentially turn down the fight and opt to remain with WWE.
“He didn’t want the smoke,” D.C. told “The Schmo” during the UFC 241 Media Day this week. “Brock decided to stay in the WWE and I think it’s smart, right?”
Cormier continued, “You either go and perform or you come and fight me. It just makes more sense to stay in the WWE.”

During the UFC 241 Media Day earlier this week, D.C. also spoke about the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion of the world, “The Architect” Seth Rollins.
