According to PW Insider, the Villain Marty Scurll has indeed signed a new contract with Ring of Honor. Along with this new deal, Scurll has taken on the lead booking duties for the promotion, and was heavily involved in all angles during last night’s event in Atlanta, which included an appearance from NWA World’s Champion Nick Aldis. Former head booker Hunter Johnson will still be in a creative role assisting Scurll. Reports are that it was also Scurll’s idea to run the free event in Baltimore on February 9th.
Although exact details of his contract haven’t been released, ROH’s recent signings have been multi-year deals. He will still be able to work for the NWA, and continue his pursuit of a world championship.
